Ninjas are often portrayed as supermen who carry out undercover espionage operations, making full use of phenomenal physical abilities and various ninjutsu (ninja techniques). Don't you want to find out who they really are? Experience and feel the ninja world by watching their fighting performance and participating in a ninja training session. Ninjas will teach you some of their techniques. You will learn taijutsu (unarmed body combat skills) and practice ninjutsu, both of which could become very handy in real life.

In this program, you will learn how to create nigiri sushi (rice topped with raw fish) as well as makizushi (sushi rolled in dried seaweed). Then you'll be ready to prepare your own delicious sushi at home.
Through practicing with an imitation sword, you will learn that you don't need strength to slice a Japanese sword in the correct way. Before throwing them yourself, you will also learn how the real ninja use(d) ninja stars. You will soon appreciate why ninjas and samurai were drawn to these weapons a long ago!
Taiko drums are considered to be one of the first percussion instruments invented by humans. This tour will lead you to discover the wonders of taiko drums. The tour starts at the Drum Museum where you can observe and touch a collection of drums which have come from around the world. You will also be able to participate in short drumming sessions on them. The sound of a taiko drum is thought to be like the sound at the bottom of our souls — it's the basis for human rhythm. You will find out that taiko is not only a musical instrument - the physical activity involved during the drumming has made it become a form of relaxation, recreation and entertainment. After the taiko session you will enjoy a short tour around Asakusa’s temples and shrines and find out more about traditional Japanese culture and religion.

Koya-san is well known as a major pilgrimage site for Shingon Buddhism followers and its major attraction is the monastic complex. Take this opportunity to stay in a temple and have a religious Japanese life.
You will be able to experience either Ajikan (similar to Zazen, a seated meditation) or Sha-jyutsu / Sha-kyo (either draw/paint Buddha's or learn how to write sutras) meditation methods. The method cannot be specified because it depends on teacher availability; however, both methods are practiced by the Buddhists to reach enlightenment.
