While the initial price may seem somewhat daunting, the cost benefit of purchasing a Japan Rail Pass is excellent. The cost of just a single Shinkansen (Bullet Train) journey from Tokyo to Kyoto can cost up to half the price of a whole week-long Japan Rail Pass!

You can order Japan Rail Pass Online. Please press "Order Japan Rail Pass Online" button below and fill out all information, then press "submit by e-mail" Button at the bottom of the form, send by e-mail as an attached file or print the form and fax to Japan Package office at 02-9264-8223.

• The payment made by Credit Card, credit card surcharge (Visa and MasterCard 1.5% or Amex and JCB 4.0%) will be applied.
• The postage : If customer request to send a Japan Rail Pass by the Express post, $5.00 of postage will be applied.

After you arrive in Japan, you turn in the Exchange Order to receive Japan Rail Pass at an applicable JR station that has a Japan Rail Pass Exchange Office. Further information, please refer [How to obtain your Japan Rail Pass?].

How to use reserved seat?

Shinkansen (Bullet Train) and most limited express and ordinary express trains have reserved Green car seats and both reserved and non-reserved ordinary car seats. A non-reserved seat can be used simply by showing your Japan Rail Pass. Seat reservations can be made without additional payment. To make a reservation, apply at any Travel Service Centre or a Reservation Office (MIDORI-NO-MADOGUCHI) at a JR station, or at a sales office of a JR-associated travel agency. There, show your Pass, and obtain your reserved-seat ticket before boarding. Seat reservations cannot be made before you receive the Pass in Japan.

Additional Information

• The Japan Rail Pass is not valid for any seats, reserved or non-reserved, on "NOZOMI" trains on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen lines. (The pass holders must take "HIKARI" or "KODAMA" trains). If you use a "NOZOMI", you must pay the basic fare and the limited express charge.

If You Cancel

• You must bring the original exchange order to our office.
• The voucher must be unused.
• Upon cancellation you are to pay a cancellation fee of $95 for administration and handling charges.

Japan Rail Pass Refund

• The voucher must be unused and within the validity.
• Accepted by the only passenger who purchased JR Exchange Order to claim a refund.
• You can get a refund at our office and a refund process will take within 6 - 8 weeks after a claim as forwarded to Japan Rail Office.
• Refund amount is based on the exchange rate of the month in Japan.
• You are not eligible to claim a refund, if you have exchanged to the actual Japan Rail Pass.
• No Refund accepted for a Lost or Stolen voucher.
