Kyoto - Takayama
Morning, Board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Transfer to a limited express for Takayama, an ancient and tranquil city called "Little Kyoto". 15:00pm. Takayama walking tour visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed, Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage, and Kami Sannomachi street, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses. |

Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa
Morning, visit the famous morning market of Takayama. Scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shogawa river to Shirakawago, designated as World Heritage. Its highlights are unique structures called Gassho- Zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Then visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience making traditional Japanese paper. Arrive at Kanazawa 17:30pm - 18:00pm. |

3. Depends on traffic/weather condition or other operational reasons, motorcoach will be used for transfer from Nagoya station to Takayama station.4. Your baggage will be transported by land from Kyoto to Tokyo with allowance of one piece per person. For the overnight stay in Takayama and Kanazawa, we recommend you to carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per piece.
