Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - HakoneDeluxe motor coach to the foot of Mt. Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters. In the afternoon, stroll through Takayama, visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colourfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed; Kusakabe Folk craft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage; and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses.

Dinner : XTakayama 6 Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa Visit the famous morning market of Takayama before a scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as a World Heritage site. Its high lights are unique structures called Gassho - Zukuri, steep thached roof farmhouses.
Next visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience making Gokayama Washi, traditional Japanese paper. Then, the tour continues to Kanazawa.
