Afternoon - [Tokushima] Awaodori Kaikan / Naruto Whirlpools*

Our last stop before hitting Osaka is Naruto, a small town off the coast. Here in Naruto, many hope to observe the large Naruto whirlpools which are created by the large volumes of water moving between the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean between high and low tide, combined with the unique underwater geography of the narrow straight. These whirlpools can only be seen under strict conditions and times and thus we cannot guarantee seeing the whirlpools in action. Before ending our day, we will spend some time at Osaka, Dotonbori, a popular tourist district for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The street is lit by hundreds of neon lights at night time, keeping the town lively throughout the night.

* The whirlpool can only be seen at certain times of the day and thus we cannot guarantee seeing the whirlpool in action.
