Hokkaido / Furano

Hokkaido - Furano Ski Resort Furano is located in the centre of the island of Hokkaido and is an authentic Japanese town that happens to have a world class ski resort on its doorstep. One of the charms of a ski holiday in Furano is being able to explore the town, and dine and drink at the same restaurants and bars that the locals go to. There are also local events and festivals held during the winter season that will turn your ski holiday into the cultural experience of a lifetime. Other attractions around the area include a winery, cheese factory and some amazing galleries.

Furano carefully maintains its Japanese authenticity while at the same time catering to international visitors. Beginners and intermediates can enjoy perfectly groomed runs, while high intermediate and advanced skiers can challenge themselves on the ungroomed powder areas and steeps. Night skiing operates on both sides of the mountain and makes for a spectacular way to spend the evening. There is a modern network of lifts including a 6 person gondola and 101 person cable meaning that queues are rarely seen.

Nagano / Nozawa Onsen

Iwate / APPI Kogen

Iwate - APPI Kogen Ski Resort APPI is located in latitude 40° N where world's famous ski resorts such as Austria's Arlberg and USA's Aspen are located. APPI Kogen snow resort is on the Mt. Maemori (1,305m) and Mt. Nishimori (1,328m) in the Hachimantai National Park.
