1. Our Responsibility
We always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory. Japan Package does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service provider in connection with your holiday pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves (which may be evidenced in writing by the issue of air ticket, voucher, coupon) and over whom we have no direct or exclusive control.
We do not accept liability in contract for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control, like war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authority, accident due to failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action or natural disaster.

2. Booking Your Holiday
Require 20% deposit per person within 7 days. No refundable if you decide to cancel or withdraw from your booking.
The full amount payable if booking is made within 90 days of departure.

3. Paying the balance
After a confirmation of the booking full payment requires within 30 days. Except the special package deals.
If payment is not made by the due date, Japan Package may apply for a penalty fee any costs incurred by supplier.
Ticket and document won't be forwarded until full payment has been received by us. -
4. Change in price and itineraries
All prices are in Australian dollars. Prices are based on Japanese Yen and exchange rate. If we have to change your booking or part of it for reason beyond our control we will notify you.
If the change or changes result in your holiday costing more or otherwise being material different from that contemplated prior to the change or changes being affected and in respect of which we have already accepted your deposit, you have the right to ask for re-arrangement your holiday to withdraw from the holiday will be no refund.

5. Cancellation and amendment of document by you
Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing and must be received and acknowledged by Japan Package. It is your responsibility to ensure that Japan Package received written notification.
If you cancel or terminate your holiday there will be no refundable on your deposit and maybe additional fees from ground operators, hotel and airlines may apply.
If the booking is cancelled outside 90 days of departure, a minimum 20% of the booking cost will apply plus any charges applied by suppliers.
If the booking is cancelled between 90 days and 60 days of departure, 50% cancellation fee will apply.
If the booking is cancelled within 60 days of departure, 100% cancellation fee will apply.Exceptions may apply for certain promotional periods and non-refundable airfare. Early bird special are non refundable once paid in full.
If the document must be replaced after having been issued by Japan Package a service fee $50 per booking will be charged by Japan Package in addition to any charges levied by hotels and ground operators or air ticket. A document re-issue means a change to an existing booking and not a transfer to another package where cancellation fees may apply.

6. Refunds
No Refund is available for cancellation after holiday package has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized as a result of cancellation.
Refund will take 6 to 8 weeks

7. Late Booking fees and Cancellation
Full payment requires within the same day of confirmation for any booking made within 7 days prior to travel date above land content cancellation policy applies thereafter. Japan Package reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancellation charges should payments not be received within the above specified periods.

8. Travel Insurance
We are strongly advised to take out travel insurance. You should ensure that the travel insurance you buy covers the costs incurred if you cancel, and the cost of assistance, including repatriation, in the event of an accident or illness while you are abroad, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.

9. Air Arrangements
Airfare prices and conditions are subject to changes and withdrawal without notification until ticketed. Japan Package can not be held liable for any increases in prices or changes in the rules and conditions of any Foreign currency airfares or increases in airport taxes as they are subject to currency exchange rates imposed on the day of ticket issue. Full payment is required before air tickets can be issued.

10. Travel and Accommodation
All bookings with Japan Package are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers and other service providers including, but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire and restaurant operators, whose services we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage and Japan Package liability is excluded or limited accordingly.

11. Hotel Descriptions
All descriptions featured in the brochure are based on current international hotel guides and information provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time.

12. Travel Class
Economy class airfare basis.

13. Photographs
Photographs provided are for general information and may not include destinations on your itinerary or tour.

14. Documents & Visas
Passport and visa requirements are your responsibility and Japan Package shall not be held liable for any losses or additional expenses incurred as a result of a passenger not holding the necessary valid passport or visa or failure to ensure that they have correct travel information. Australian passport holders do not require a visa for stays within 90 days.
Please note: it is important to double-check your visa requirements with the appropriate embassy/ consular office as visa regulations may have changed.

15. Payment Methods
We accept: Cash, Eftops, Direct deposit, Bank Cheque Credit Card and Paypal.
