Hakone - Takayama
Drive to Odawara Station and board a shinkansen for Nagoya. Transfer to a limited express for Takayama, an ancient, tranquil city also known as "Little Kyoto". Stroll through Takayama, visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colorfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed, Kusakabe Folkcraft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage, and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, where there are preserved traditional Japanese wooden houses. |

Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa
Visit the famous morning market of Takayama. Go for a scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as a World Heritage site. Its highlights are unique structures called Gassho-Zukuri, or joined-hands farmhouses. Then visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience making Gokayama Washi, traditional Japanese paper. |

Go sightseeing in Kanazawa in the morning, visiting Kenrokuen Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln, Higashi-chaya Street and former guest house Shima. In the afternoon, return to Tokyo by limited express and shinkansen. |

2. Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway skipped due to traffic conditions without alternative on the following days; Sep 4, 11, 25, Oct 2,16, 23, 30, 31, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 30.
3. When "Fuji Visitor Centre" is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, "Fuji Visitor Centre" may be skipped.4. When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter and somedays in early spring due to heavy snow, or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic jam, you will go up highest possible point.
5. Komagatake Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operational reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following althernatives; Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine, Owaku-dani and Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway. Your tour guide will finalize alternative places, based on careful study of tour movement and other conditions.6. We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.
7. Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions. We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.8. Baggage carriage is not included. Please carry your baggage on your own. However, trains don not have areas for storing large pieces of baggage. We recommend leaving large pieces of baggage at your hotel in Tokyo while you travel by train.
