Day Schedule Stay 1 Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone Deluxe motor coach to the foot of Mt.Fuji via expressway. Then drive halfway up Japan's highest mountain to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 meters.
After lunch, proceed to Hakone for a cruise on Lake Ashi (Ashinoko Yuransen) and Mt. Komagatake Ropeway. Accommodation at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en with hot spring baths.
Hakone 2 Hakone - Takayama Morning, drive to Odawara and board a Shinkansen for Nagoya. Transfer to a limited-express for Takayama, an ancient, tranquil city called "Little Kyoto".
In the afternoon, stroll through Takayama, visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colourfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed; Kusakabe Folk craft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage; and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses. Accommodation at Hida Hotel Plaza.
Takayama 3 Takayama - Shirakawago - Kanazawa Visit the famous morning market of Takayama before a scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as a World Heritage site. Its high lights are unique structures called Gassho - Zukuri, steep thached roof farmhouses.
Kanazawa 4 Kanazawa - Tokyo Morning sightseeing in Kanazawa, visiting Kenrokuen Garden, Kutaniyaki Pottery Kiln, Higashi-chaya Street and Former Guest House "Shima".
In the afternoon return to Tokyo by train and Shinkansen, arriving between 19:30 and 20:30pm.

Tour Description : See the nature and history of rural Japan! Visit Mt. Fuji, Japan's highest peak and Japan's most famous symbol. Spend the evening in the historical mountain resort area of Hakone before traveling to Takayama, known as "Little Kyoto", and its preserved historical structures and environment. Mingle with the locals at the thatched roofed village of Shirakawago, a World Heritage site. Experience the making of washi, Japanese paper, at Gokayama. Visit Kanagawa, home of Kenroku Garden, one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan, and admire the ceramics at Kutaniyaki. Meeting Place : - Pick up service available at major hotels in Tokyo.
