A popular tour package that leaves from Tokyo and includes a one-night stay in Hakone and two nights’ stay in Kyoto. On the first day, this tour takes you up to Mt. Fuji's fifth station to enjoy the view from 2,300 m above sea level. After this, participants will take in Hakone's beautiful natural scenery with a pleasure boat cruise around Lake Ashino and a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway. Stay in the well-established Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en, which is directly connected to the Yunessun hot spring theme park. On the second day travel to Kyoto by bullet train, and then go sightseeing in Nara. On the third day, spend the whole day sightseeing in Kyoto. Finally, on the fourth day, choose whether you want to end your trip in Kyoto with our One-Way course or if you would like to return to Tokyo by bullet train with our Round Trip option.

Hakone - Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Drive to Odawara in the morning and take a shinkansen to Kyoto. Have lunch at New Miyako Hotel. Go on an afternoon tour to Nara, the first permanent capital of Japan. Visit Todaiji Temple and its Great Buddha, colorful Kasuga Taisha Shrine with 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Park (Deer Park) where there are many freely-roaming tame deer. Then, return to Kyoto. |

Go sightseeing around Kyoto in the morning, visiting Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle which is noted for its gorgeous interiors, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, this tour will visit Nishi Honganji instead). Have lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Center. After lunch, visit Sanjusangendo Temple with its 1001 impressive images of Buddha, vermilion-hued Heian Jingu Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple with its wooden veranda. |

2. Mt. Komagatake Aerial Cableway skipped due to traffic conditions without alternative on the following days; Sep 4, 11, 25, Oct 2,16, 23, 30, 31, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 30.
3. When "Fuji Visitor Centre" is closed, or if the tour is behind the schedule due to traffic jam, "Fuji Visitor Centre" may be skipped.4. When the driveway up to Mt.Fuji's 5th station is closed in winter and somedays in early spring due to heavy snow, or if the tour is behind schedule due to traffic jam, you will go up highest possible point.
5. Komagatake Ropeway or Cruise on Lake Ashi may also be omitted or substituted depending on traffic, weather conditions, or for other operational reasons. In this case, you will enjoy one in case of either of them omitted or two for both of them omitted out of following althernatives; Narukawa Museum in Hakone, Hakone Check Point, Cruise on Lake Kawaguchi, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone shrine, Owaku-dani and Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway. Your tour guide will finalize alternative places, based on careful study of tour movement and other conditions.6. We recommend you to bring an overcoat or other warm clothing during autumn and winter.
7. Even if you go up to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, it so happens that you cannot see the full view of Mt. Fuji due to the weather conditions. We shall never make any refund and also never cancel the tour operation for this reason.8. On Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed. The tour will visit Nishi Honganji instead. This includes before and after the public viewing of the Kyoto Imperial Palace in April and October, three days before and after Aoi Festival (May 15) and when there is an Imperial Household event.
9. On Tuesdays in Jan, Jul, Aug, and Dec or Wednesday if Tuesday in national holiday, Nijo castle is closed. The tour will visit Ryoanji Temple or Daitokuji Daisen-in Temple instead.10. Your baggage will be transported by land from Tokyo to Kyoto on Day 1 and Kyoto to Tokyo (Only main hotels in Tokyo) on Day 4 with allowance of one piece per person. Baggage transfer is available if you stay at main hotels in Tokyo. For the overnight stay in Hakone, we recommend that you carry a light overnight bag with you. For extra baggage, JPY2,200 will be charged per itiem.
