Ghibli Museum, Mitaka
The museum was designed by Japan's top animated film director, Hayao Miyazaki, famous for such films as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and My Neighbor Totoro. The building is like a maze, and the concept of the museum is "Let's lose our way together." You can see the cat bus from Totoro, imaginative exhibits about the process of making animation films, and an original short film which can only be seen in the museum theater. |
